Account

Your ccpp.dev account

Accounts are managed from the terminal. The CLI logs in against the ccpp API and keeps a token in ~/.ccpp/account.json, readable only by you. The same account signs you in on this site, where you edit your public profile.

Commands

  • Create an account, then log in.

ccpp account register --email you@example.com --name "Your Name"
  • Log in on this machine. The token goes to ~/.ccpp/account.json.

    ccpp account login --email you@example.com
  • Show the account this machine is logged in as.

    ccpp account whoami
  • Change your name, email (--email) or password (--password).

ccpp account update --name "New Name"
  • List the tokens of your account, one per logged-in machine.

    ccpp account tokens
  • Revoke a token, for example from a machine you no longer use.

    ccpp account revoke <id>
  • Revoke this machine's token and remove account.json.

    ccpp account logout
  • Delete your account and every token it has.

    ccpp account delete --yes

account.json

Written with mode 0600 when you log in, removed when you log out. Each machine gets its own token, so revoking one leaves the others logged in. Set CCPP_API_URL or pass --api-url to use another server.

API

The CLI calls the REST API at https://api.ccpp.dev. Its OpenAPI 3.1 document covers every route, so you can generate a client or call it with a bearer token.
